To my mom:
I don’t know if you know this, but you are pretty much the most inspiring woman I have ever met.
I have literally deleted and rewrote the next sentence probably 20 times because I just can’t figure out what I should say first. How much I love the passion you have for almost every aspect of life? How devoted you are to your family and friends? How blessed I feel that I was raised by you?
You simply are amazing and wonderful and lovely. There aren’t words because everything I would say to describe you just doesn’t do justice.
You want to know what would do you justice? Pictures.

You taught me that silly poses make the picture.

Even if I was too young to believe you.

You still tried to get a good Christmas photo even though Beth and I were determined to have a tickle war instead.

You planned an AMAZING and completey suprising private prom for your daughter’s 16th birthday.

You got special face paint for your glasses just ’cause one night at Moe’s

You taught me that being just a little bit crazy was okay; because clothes fresh from the dryer are the best.

You taught me that even if you don’t have much, you can still have a killer Oscar party.

And that DDR is a wonderful thing.

You taught me to love someone with all my heart, forever.

You taught me that when you want something bad enough, there is always a solution

And to live life without regrets.

I love you, mom. Happy mothers day!

The picture of us dancing at anti-prom is one of my all time favorites!
